Become an iReporter for Czech Television!

Through the iReporter application, users can submit not only timely news videos but also share personal travel experiences, favorite locations, cultural events, gardening projects, hobby videos, and much more. The app allows you to stay updated on current topics that are in demand directly on your mobile device. The best footage will be broadcasted on Czech Television!

How to get started:

1. Download the iReporter application and register.
2. To begin recording: Click the red circular button located on the left side of the screen.
3. To pause and resume: Press the pause button and resume recording by pressing the red circular button again. You can capture multiple clips into a single video.
4. Saving your video: Once you are satisfied with your recording, click the "Finish" button to proceed to the next step before submitting your video.
5. Photographs: You can easily send us photos in the same manner.

The iReporter application also allows users to submit videos and photographs captured outside of the app. Simply select a video from your gallery, fill in the title and description, and send it directly to our editorial team for processing. This procedure is identical for both videos and photographs.

Tips for successful video submissions:

• Record horizontally: Horizontal videos tend to look better and are more suitable for broadcast.
• Speed is crucial: If you capture a current event (e.g., an accident, fire), submit it to us as quickly as possible. The sooner we receive it, the greater the chance it has of being aired on Czech Television.
• Proper titling and descriptions: This assists our editors in processing and categorizing submissions for broadcast.

After submission, our editors will review your video, and if it is selected for air, we will inform you.
